My name is Alexa Young
Bella Piercing Academy was built on passion, purpose, and a deep desire to raise the standard in piercing education. Founded by Erica Vicens—a beauty industry educator with over 25 years of experience—this academy is an extension of the same mission that launched Bella Piercing in 2019: to create a safe, empowering space where people feel seen, celebrated, and confident in their craft.
Named after the family’s beloved bulldog, Bella, the shop, and now the academy, carries forward the same warmth, care, and intentionality that has touched thousands of clients and students alike.
Erica, alongside her daughter Nina, leads with heart and high standards. Together, they’ve built a woman-owned, woman-led studio of 10+ talented piercers who’ve performed over 50,000 needle-only piercings, making Bella one of the most trusted names in the industry.
